ESLF CAMPAIGNS AGAINST BULLYING AT PADOPAS

To curb the menace of physical, verbal, cyber and psychological bullying among teenagers in schools, Eunice Spring of Life Foundation (ESLF) joined a coalition of Civil Society Organisations (CSOs) on an anti-bullying campaign to Padopas Harmony Secondary School, Makurdi Benue State.

The campaign, which is part of an ongoing school drive in partnership with Cheerful Hands Initiative (CHI) and the National Human Rights Commission (NHRC) among other Non-Governmental Organisations (NGOs) is targeted at eliminating the dire consequences of bullying in schools which include poor academic performance, low self-esteem, school drop-out syndrome, depression and, in extreme cases, suicide.

Through one of her core thematic areas of Education and Research, ESLF continues to put a spotlight on implementing programmes such as the anti-bullying campaign to improve access to education for all especially among children and other vulnerable groups.
