ESLF TAKES GBV, MENTAL HEALTH SENSITISATION TO PERSONS WITH DISABILITIES AND APIR COMMUNITY MEMBERS.
To ensure inclusion of Persons with Disabilities and spell out steps to take to shield themselves from the hazards of Gender Based Violence (GBV) and how they can enjoy better mental health, Eunice Spring of Life Foundation (ESLF) on Thursday 10th April, 2025 partnered with a network of Civil Society Organisations (CSOs), the National Agency for Prohibition of Trafficking in Persons (NAPTIP) and the Benue State Ministry of Health and Human Services to sensitize men, women and children at Apir Community in Makurdi, Benue State on issues around rape, sexual harassment, human trafficking, child labour and the Benue State Sexual Assault Referral Centre (SARC).
Participants were drawn from the school for children with disabilities run by the Benue State Rehabilitation Board and some members of the Apir Community in Makurdi Local Government Area of Benue State.
