6 MALE TEAMS QUALIFY FROM ELSF TOURNAMENT ZONALS…TO JOIN 2 IDP TEAMS, 7 FEMALE TEAMS FOR QUARTER FINALS.

6 teams have qualified for the next round of the ESLF Football Tournament 2022 following games played in 3 centres across Benue State.

They are Millo Stars FC and Zaki Biam United from Zone A, Tarkaa Youth FC and Cambridge FC in Zone B, as well as Avail FC of Otukpo and Godwin Abu Edo Academy of Agatu from Zone C.

In Adikpo, Milo Stars won Vantown by a lone goal and Zaki Biam Utd outclassed Santana FC 4-2 on penalties following a goal less draw at regulation time.

In Gboko, Tarkaa Youth FC of Tarka won Sniper FC 3-0 and Cambridge FC of Gboko walloped Young Stars 4-0.

And in Zone C, Avail FC of Otukpo beat Lion FC by 2 goals to nil and Godwin Abu Edo Academy of Agatu beat Ojali FC of Ohimini by a lone goal to both emerge zonal representatives.

2 male teams from the Internally Displaced Persons Camps will join these 6 qualified teams alongside 7 female teams to play at the Quarter Final round which will hold on Sunday 5th June, 2022 in Makurdi, Gboko and Otukpo.

The ESLF Football Tournament 2022 forms part of activities to commemorate the 6th year anniversary of the Foundation.
