ESLF HOSPITAL TAKES DELIVERY OF FIRST BABY SINCE COMMENCEMENT IN FEBRUARY.

Eunice Spring of Life Foundation (ESLF) Hospital also called ESLF Hospital has recorded a significant milestone with the safe delivery of the first baby at its facility since it commenced operation in February 2024.
According to the midwife who attended to the mother, Abigail John Musa, the baby was born at exactly 12.50 pm on Tuesday 26 March, 2024.

She explained that the mother who had attended ant-natal care at the hospital experienced no complications whatsoever with the delivery.

Responding, mother of the newborn, Mrs. Charity Nyietagher from Konshisha Local Government Area of the State expressed gratitude to God and the hospital for the safe delivery, the warm reception and kind treatment from staff.

Mrs. Nyietagher who revealed that the newborn was her third child, testified to the remarkably different treatment she got at the ESLF Hospital and expressed joy with the state-of-the-art facilities in use.

Presenting a free delivery kit also known as Mama’s kit to the newly delivered mother, Head of Administration of ESLF Hospital and Programme Coordinator, Eunice Spring of Life Foundation (ESLF), Dr. Comfort Abaa expressed gratitude to God for the first-ever delivery at the facility and encouraged others expectant mothers to .

The birth of the newborn is a culmination of all the efforts put in place to set up an ideal Maternal and Child Unit at the ESLF Hospital to ensure safe and seamless child delivery for pregnant mothers when due.

The ESLF Hospital had commenced service to the public in February with a 2-day free medical outreach for members of the Ugondo community and other parts of Makurdi and nearly 500 beneficiaries successfully accessed free medical consultation, treatment and drugs at the facility at inception.
