Dr. Ortom who expressed appreciation to partnering organisations for supporting the Foundation especially Access Bank PLC for donating a bus to aid ESLF’s humanitarian work, United Bank for Africa (UBA) and Fidelity Bank for various interventions, urged them to continue to provide a strong shoulder of support for ESLF to lean on in its quest to improve lives especially of vulnerable persons.
The ESLF Founder explained that the Foundation, established May 14th, 2016 is a non-profit, Non-Governmental Organisation disposed to the humanitarian aspect of development work and carries out its activities under its various thematic areas of Health, Economic Empowerment (through Agriculture and Environment), Governance as well as Education and Research.
She underscored the fact that, noble as ESLF’s vision is “to create a society without barriers to decent living”, the Foundation needs the right partnership to enable it serve humanity beyond its present borders.
Dr. Ortom charged individuals who are inclined to serving humanity to take up ESLF ambassadorship role and leverage on their rich network to support the work of the Foundation.
