ESLF SUPPORTS TENNIS CONTINGENT TO ATTEND ALL NIGERIA TENNIS OPEN CHAMPIONSHIP IN LAGOS.

In line with the commitment of Eunice Spring of Life Foundation (ESLF) to support budding talents especially those discovered during the Foundation’s Lawn Tennis Summer Camp programme in 2016, ESLF has provided a goodwill token to enable the tennis contingent attend the All Nigeria Tennis (Open) competition in Lagos State, Nigeria.

Making the presentation on behalf of ESLF, the Interim Co-ordinator, Ortamen Manz Denga, recalled that the Lawn Tennis Camp in 2016 which held same year ESLF was established was one of the first signature programmes the Foundation embarked on and therefore remain committed to supporting and tracking the progress of the talents discovered until they become international tennis stars.

He assured the team of the continuous support of ESLF’s Founder and First Lady, Dr. Eunice Ortom and charged them to remain resolute, disciplined and focused in order to win gold pledging that an ESLF representative would attend the final round should they ensure to make it.

Speaking earlier, Chairman of the Benue State Lawn Tennis Association and Board Member of ESLF, Mr. Victor Hembah, noted that ESLF was the brain behind the Lawn Tennis Summer Camp for children which hosted over 200 participants out of which outstanding ones were identified for further nurturing and support which, he confirmed, the ESLF Founder and First Lady had always been supportive.

In his remark, the Benue State Director of Sports, Mr. Phillip Nongo thanked ESLF for the kind gesture which he said was helping to nurture the children to stardom. He expressed joy that the Foundation was among organisations that responded to his clarion call to support youth participation in sports and urged the team members to make the State proud by winning laurels so as to justify the support given to them by ESLF.

ESLF’s Ambassador, Chief Cliff Atile and Programme Manager, Tine Agernor were also at the event to send the tennis team off to the Lagos championship.
