It all began one fateful day on World Disability Day December 3rd, 2015 when a young man, Peter Gwer said he approached Benue’s First Lady and Founder, Eunice Spring of Life Foundation (ESLF) and solicited assistance to pursue his academic dream.
According to him, “I met Her Excellency when I got admission and was looking for sponsors. She directed that I should go to the Foundation (ESLF). So I came to the Foundation and since then, they have sponsored me: my school fees, accommodation, everything I needed in school. They took care of my studies from the beginning and today I’ve become a graduate of Accounting. I am not taking this for granted.”
“I want to thank Her Excellency and the Foundation for giving me this opportunity and for supporting me to become a graduate. I pray God will guide, protect and bless the Foundation so they can reach out to so many people out there”.
Mr. Gwer presented his B.Sc Accounting result and other certificates in computer acquired within the same period.
Receiving the certificate, an elated First Lady and Founder of ESLF, Dr. Eunice Ortom, who thanked God for what she described as “a wonderful testimony and an encouraging report” by Mr. Gwer prayed for more open doors for the ESLF beneficiary.
She admonished him to remain focused, pursue excellence in all good things and prophesied that his name would go far beyond Benue State.
Praying for Mr. Gwer, a clergyman, Rev. Fr. Solomon Mfa Ukeyima who witnessed the presentation, asked for divine guidance for him in all his future endeavours.
